Miyamoto Doichi

In this post, I will provide a detailed explanation of the hero Miyamoto Doichi, covering how to obtain him, upgrade his skills and talent tree, and integrate him with other heroes.

How to get Miyamoto?

For every heroes, you need to acquire 10 fragments. Miyamoto is a roulette hero, which means you can acquire him only by playing the Lucky Roulette (and winning 10 fragments) during the Infantry Top Commander event. You can also buy daily boost packs once Miyamoto is available at the daily boost section in the mall to obtain his 10 fragments.

Talent trees

Miyamoto is an infantry squad hero and therefore best suited to lead infantry troops. His secondary talent trees are General and Skills. The build to use on Miyamoto is to max out the Skills talent tree and use the remaining points in the Infantry tree. You can max out the traveling speed at the center of the infantry squad tree if you’re planning to use him as the leader of your speedster squad. My talent tree for Miyamoto looks like this:

Skills

  1. Two Heavens as One: Deals damage to up to 3 enemy squads in a fan-shaped area in front with a damage factor of 13,000. The damage taken by each enemy squad reduces by 20% for every additional target. So the damage factor on one squad is 13,000. If you hit 2 squads, you will deal 10,400 damage factor on each, totaling 20,800 damage factor. On 3 squads, you will deal 7,800 damage factor on each squad, totaling 23,400 damage factor.
  2. Defensive Posture: When leading only infantry, the damage dealt increases by up to 12% and the counter attacks have 20% chance to reduce the enemy HP by up to 27% for 3 seconds. As mentioned before, 20% chance on a counter attack is roughly 2 HP debuff every 3 rounds (1 round is 5-6 basic attacks + skill damage)
  3. Swift Momentum: increases infantry attack by up to 30% and also increases the traveling speed by 15%
  4. Quick-Draw Technique: Increases infantry squad defense by up to 20%. The counterattacks have a 20% chance to reduce the skill damage dealt by up to 28% for 3 seconds.
  5. Five Rings: is a skill enhancement of the 3rd skill. The infantry squad attack increases from 30% to 40% and the travel speed from 15% to 25%.

How to upgrade his skills?

For every fighting hero, you need to upgrade the 1st skill (the raging skill) first. I recommend upgrading the 2nd skill next, followed by the 3rd, and finally the 4th. The suggested order is 1, 2, 3, 4. You want to upgrade the 2nd skill because the increased damage has a greater impact than the 30% squad attack, then the 3rd because you get better stats compared to the 4th.

How to combine Miyamoto?

I recommend always using Miyamoto as the leader of the squad due to her Skills talent tree. You can pair her with any other infantry heroes such as Thunder, Tom, Adut, Eddie, etc. Depending on your needs, you have multiple options.

  • For speed and maximum damage, pair him with Adut, who offers the best attack and traveling speed boost.
  • For a good damage dealer and a resilient squad, pair him with Eddie.
  • For a very good damage dealer and high resistance, pair him with Riven.
  • For an even more tanky squad, pair him with Thunder or Tom.

Conclusion

Miyamoto is one of the best infantry hero. He is probably the best hero you can have on the field with Adut for your infantry squad. I would definitely recommend using your legendary fragments to upgrade him.
