Great rebates is a trending event that occurs every 4 weeks during the Archipelago raid. It consists of buying gems to obtain rewards in exchange. The event spans 2 days and resets after 24 hours, allowing you to spend your gems twice to obtain the same rewards again.
Rewards
The rewards are a mix of badges, experience books, resources packs, speedups, relocators, advanced search and hero fragments. The best rewards you can obtain is the legendary fragments. You’ll need to spend 9,000 gems to obtain 5 fragments and 30,000 gems to obtain an additional 10 fragments, bringing the total to 15 fragments.
Tips
This event is the best time to spend your gems, so save them and use them to purchase everything you need.
The first thing you need to buy is VIP tickets to unlock your VIP level to level 9 to gain one legendary fragment every day. Once you are VIP level 9, I would suggest to buy victory badges and Nano reinforced materials to unlock all your buildings types to level 25 including the battle center that requires a lot of victory badges. You’ll need all your buildings types to be level 25 in order to build your lab level 25 which is required to unlock your tier 6 troops. You want to avoid being stuck in your research so building your lab 25 is a priority.
Once you finish upgrading your lab to level 25, you can use your gems to upgrade your VIP level by purchasing VIP tickets.
For this event, it’s advised to buy gems pass to have enough gems (60,000 total) to unlock all the rewards. If you can’t afford to spend that many gems you can still try to spend 9,000 gems to get at least 5 legendary fragments.

This event is worth it because legendary fragments are hard to get. So, try to save your gems for this event and spend at least 9,000 or 18,000 over 2 days. The best obviously is to spend 60,000 gems to obtain the 30 legendary fragments.
